Using 'religion' as a soapbox

Register Regarding the recent stories about
teacher James Corbett and the like, I think there are many other
ways to get students to "think" than for a teacher to use religion,
either pro or con, to do so. I am highly suspect of the motives of
any teacher, in the public schools, who feels the need to use
religion, in any way, to achieve this goal of getting students to
think.
