The Capistrano Unified
School District is, in my opinion, engaged in the immoral and
illegal theft of the taxpayers' money ["A turf battle in
Capistrano," Commentary, Sept. 23]. It allegedly wants to condemn
property that has been purchased by private citizens who want to
build a private school. Why would the CUSD want to spend all of our
money to go to court to condemn a private school so it can build a
new school, which taxpayers will be paying for the rest of our
lives?...
